Hi, My name is Tania and I have just recently returned from Malaysia after volunteering with The salvation Army in Melaka, Melaysia. I was a non-Christian before I went and through Captains Paul and Esther Ong I became a Christian. I love The Salvation Army as you all have a good heart for helping the young, the old and families, and the best part is that it's all for the Glory of God. Praise God and the work He has us doing. Love Tania (Crosshands 01/04/2007)
What a huge privilege for me to share in your YP weekend! You have some amazing young people and I loved sharing in what was dynamic, exciting spirit-filled worship. God bless your Corps and your young people!

I am a Salvation Army officer in America, specifically Wilmington, Delaware on the east coast. My father was born in Wales and I have cousins in the Rhondda Valley, in Pentre, in Cardiff, and I also have cousins in Pyle. I have been searching for information on The Salvation Army in Wales.
I enjoyed your website. It was very informative. God bless you in your work.

Heh What a great Website! Wish all corps were where you are. Hi my name is Mike and I am an adherent at Maidenhead Citadel Corps as well as the drummer for Soul Revivors a Salvation army rock band. We met some of your people at Sandridge in July when we were providing some of the music for the family day at the eventide home. My name is Sam Young and I attend the Etobicoke Corps in Torronto. I had the pleasure of meeting your Songster Librarian Joyce Smith when she was visiting her daughter this summer. She and I shared a lot of memories of the past, she was a delight to talk to. Please pass on my regards to her.

I was so pleased to visit your interesting web site. I visited the corps in November 1967 when I was at Stebonheath Secondary Modern School on teaching practice. Everyone made me feel so welcome and I enjoyed playing in the band. I still have very fond memories of that visit and of the kind soldiers of your corps.
Colin Cheshire - 18/08/05
Congratulations on an informative, up-to-date, and easy-to-use web site which does The Salvation Army proud. It's great to pick up on what's happening in Llanelli Corps... I hope it won't be too long before we come along to see you!

Have just found your web page and read 'The Citadel Magazine', very interesting and will look for it again. If I can talk my wife into allowing me to drive 300miles for our holidays in 2006 I shall try to come and look at the country where I spent my N/S in the 1940's when I played for a while with Risca band.

Very enjoyable... Thank you Uncle Ken for making me aware of this site. It is now bookmarked and I shall pass it on to the rest of the clan. I love the sound files... Could you get then to sing by request? I should like to hear 'Batman and Robin' and 'You must'nt have a face like a coffee pot'. Best wishes and hope the corps thrives.

Having received your excellent Corps Magazine this morning I made the time to visit your web site and am so pleased I did.
This is an excellent resource with a great deal of helpful information. I was particularly impressed that the information was so up to date.
As always, your Corps Magazine also provided a comprehensive window into the life and mission of your corps.
May God continue to bless Llanelli Citadel.
(from your proud Divisional Commander)

You have created a super website for the corps. It's always so impressively up to date! Great for people like me to catch up on what goes on there - also scary to see all those children, who were babies when I left Llanelli, so grown up!!!

I would like to congratulate you on producing a great website for The Salvation Army. The site has lots of depth and plenty of well-maintained content. In fact, we are so impressed; we have provided a link to your site from our home page as a fine example of what can be achieved.
In response to the retired CSM, I second that sentiment! Well done to you, Peter, for the many hours that you give each week keeping the world informed of events at Llanelli. Publish this or I will be forced to withdraw my services! (Don't forget, I'm not retired yet!)
B/M - 05/10/04
Dear Editor, now that I am Retired CSM, I can say unofficially that it is about time someone submitted a thank you for your hard work and skill in producing this Llanelli Citadel Web Site. You must publish this or I will go on strike for the Bible Studies.
Des Harries - CSM/Retd - Llanelli Citadel - 04/10/04
Compliments on the web site which makes very interesting reading - and beautiful photographs. Congratulations to the newlyweds (September photographs) and also the YP corps - seems to be blossoming.
Massimo and Jane Paone - Rome - Italy - 25/09/04
Just to say that your format for the web site is very friendly and manages to capture the life of the Corps with a whimsical humour that is so characteristic of the editor. You mention the first edition of The Citadel magazine, you might like to know that I still have a copy of it in my files, something to read when I retire. Excellent idea having photo galleries of the last couple of months. Congratulations on the production - keep up the good work. Love to anyone old enough to remember me.
Peter (Mylechreest) - CO Camberwell - Australia - 11/09/2004
